I have a 4 row john deere 71 planter, I am going to attach a no till coulter bar infront of my planter bar and move the 3pt to that bar and then weld the planter bar to the coulter bar and use john deere coulters. I have plenty of 100lb suit case weights how much do you think I would need weight wise. Also my 71 planter have the big plate gauge shoes on them that I love because it smooths the ground out in front of the planter could I keep them on the planter when I put it to no till?
