If the mag is clicking when it is cranking, the impulse coupling is working. If it is not it will never start unless pulled fast enough to make spark. (maybe 4 MPH in 3rd gear) the impulse coupling spins the mag momentarily as it passes TDC to make the needed voltage in the mag. Remember, no power goes to the mag, it will work with nothing attached to it. If it is sparking, it must be fuel. Firing order is 1342 Front is 1 next is 2 then 3 the rear cyl is 4. Jim
