Tony, We do the water harvest thing too. Those pickers are actually made in Mass. They are called Darlingtons. You can still buy then new today, though mine are probably older than I am. Anyone want to guess what a new unit costs?
Most all fresh fruit from the west and east coast is picked with some form of this machine. In Wisc. its a special water harvester for fresh (slush or paddle wheel I believe they call it) - The fruit would then need to be dried.
Regular water harvest is for processes fruit - juice,sauce, etc... G
