JD, I always enjoy your posts. However, on this one you are leaving out a very important fact. Right now, the Federal Reserve, which is a privately owned central bank, is in the process of "monetizing" the deficit spending. They are doing this by printing or creating out of thin air, huge sums of money. In the main stream media, this process is called quantitative easing. This has been done many times in the past, if one cares to read a little history. One of the more famous incidents of this plundering of the middle class was in the Weimar Republic, in Germany after WW1. There is an old saying, that if we don't learn from history, we are bound to repeat it. It is happening right now.
