Some people brag how fast they can go cutting beans---BULL SH%T!! We have a JD 8820-A good old-in its day-big combine.We had a 222 head on it years ago and everybody said to put a Tiger Jaw sickle on it- you can cut at 5 mph-Not true. I traded for a 925 JD platform-best thing I ever did-I cut at 3.5 mph I have the course sections and it does a GREAT job! When beans are 8% you will see shatter! GOOD LUCK!!!!
