I had a similar problem, they called it a frozen shoulder - painful.
I suffered with this for years, my Daughter made an appointment at the therapy place she was going to, I had a total of three sessions, she did a stretching exercise then acupuncture, gave me an exercise to do, (stand in a door way feet together arms up, hands at about ear level, hands on door frame, push yourself in and out start at 5 work up to 20) I do this when ever I feel the pain coming back, been pain free for at least 11 years, hope it helps.
When I first saw this girl I laughed to myself what could she know she was only about 22 - 25. I guess one doesn't have to be old to know what their doing.
