I have a good frend who has a v10 ford and I have gone on a few long trips with him. It is a powerhouse, it handles a 25 foot trailer loaded with two tractors with ease. However, it likes alot of fuel and the crankshaft broke on it once. we take my ford diesel on long trips with the trailer most of the time. It will get from 12 to 14 with a loaded trailer and in the 15 years and 100.000 plus miles ive driven it all that it ever has needed is glow plugs. The v10 will blow it off the road though.
