So cleared all codes on Monday and ran it 300 miles while working on Tuesday Got 14.3 MPG Not bad! OBTW passed emissions with no problems (bad gas cap) Have a 04 Expedition 5.4 V8 4x4, 120K, gets 15 mpg All Day Long. Our old Expedition 5.4, 4x4, 240K 15 mpg the day we got rid of it! My 01 F-350, Crewcab, Single wheels, 7.3 Auto, 3:73 gears, 4x4, 225K, 15/16 mpg all day long , with no trailer, with trailer 10/12 mpg. A neighbor has a Dodge Megacab with the gas Hemi, pulling a trailer with 15k,...about 6mpg Bob tailing around 10 mpg Here in North Central Texas a lot of Farmers / Rancher are fixing up their old Crewcab Dsl monsters, putting them back in the shed and using them for pulling trailers and such. The trend...For daily work, Guys are going back to Regular cabs, Flatbeds 4x4, Gas, with Cake Boxes & hay spikes,... lighter in wt don't get stuck as much! $35K cost is easier to swallow that a $55/60K Dsl The 6.2 gas Ford is pretty popular Down here.
