For me 43 years with the gov and 2 of that was in the Army during the Korean War. Was furloughed for the draft and was rehired as a returning vet. It never made any difference whom was in office I still carried that brown bag for lunch. My replacement has 51 years and never served in the miitary. He said his wife wants him to retire in Jan 2013. Hal
