JRSutton is right on about IT. I've been on the technical side of IT since 1977, current fortune 100 company for the last 21 years. In July I was told I am a repeatable function and will be replaced by onshore and off shore(Chanai and Mexico City) talent. Ofcourse I have to train this "talent". If I play nice I get 8 months "free" pay. This is the 5th time I've been through this kinda ship. Difference this time...im 54 not 33.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
