Just finished chowing down on our Sunday meal. Not sure how we survived without a smoker all these years. Keeps the meat moist, and you don't have to tend it constantly like a grill. Just keep an eye on the water every half hour or so. No need to turn the meat either. This one has a drawer at the bottom to add water into the tray and add wood chips if needed, don't loose any heat in the box. Picked up 10 lbs of leg quarters earlier in the week for 59 cents a pound. I can't even raise the birds that cheap. Lots of leftovers for the upcoming week. Sure wish Larry at the corner library was here, he may need a good hot meal by now. Good to hear from him today, glad all is well with him and his family.
