I'm not really sure what these are. I've heard terms like swampbusters, CRP, etc. Would you guys give some examples of subsidies and their purpose? I was at the grocery store this evening and overheard two guys arguing about election results, and one told the other that farmers are getting paid not to plant crops (?) and that is what is wrong with the economy.
