I get so aggravated with people....... We'll have a foot of snow on the ground, a round bail out, and a water tank or at least a tub of water. Horses won't touch the water and will just eat snow. Had some nut going and seeing ice on the tub and calling the police and tellin them we weren't watering the horses. Had a couple geldings on a pasture and fed them hay twice a day (free choice was too much for them) in a feeder ring. Someone walked by about noon, called the cops and said we weren't feeding the horses (hay staged just outside the fence ready to put in the feeder)....... After the second time of cops showing up, we had them set up a visit from the State vet (don't know what the term you use would be) come out and look at all our animals and the place, he was satisfied and gave us a report to show if we get any more visits.
