Some memories we keep for a lifetime of our past years. When Dad was farming my my grandmothers lived on our farm. Each one had their seperate house to live in. My Mother would have coffee with her mom. I can remember as a little guy, if the coffee was too hot, Grandmother would pour some coffee in a saucer to cool it, and drink it that way with sugar cubes. This must have been a N. Dekota Sweedish thing, as I have never seen this done since. I would try and sneek a couple sugar cubes. stan

Today's Featured Article - Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents.
