Hi All - Working on replacing the power steering pump inside the MCV and was warned and see it in the part shop drawings about the small plastic check valve and spring...but guess what...I didn't find one...nor did I find a place (orifice) within the MCV on the lower right of the valve to put one. Nor does the hole pattern even come close to matching the MCV's on my drawing - not even in the same ballpark and lastly - also not on the shop drawings is what looks like a master clutch cylinder which I had to remove to get the MCV off..YEP - no mention of it at all...So I'm wondering...who's sure there is a check valve...who knows what it looks like and who knows if maybe whoever may have replaced the pump before didn't lose it...but I'm not sure how they could as there is no hole for it per the shop drawings...I'll post some pics too...
