The wife and I live 365 out of our garden. Our pantry is full of goods that we canned, of most every garden varity of vegies that are practical to grow, plus Pickles, slaw, krout, and pickled beans and beets. Also ran out of space in the freezer, for vegies, and fish and wild life, so we have many gal. jugs of dehydrated vegies in the pantry also. We have many herbs dried and crushed , in containers for seasoning to make everything tasty. The only thing we buy from the grocery, is flour, dairy products, and some meat, plus, soaps, and paper products. As I posted earlier, we require no heating oil or gas to heat our home and my shop.
