When I did work union construction, the general contractors I worked for had some of the most antiquated, delapidated, old fashioned JUNK tools and equipment. Since union work is all about taking as much time as possible to do mediocre work at the highest possible cost, they weren't at all concerned about the quality or condition of equipment.
