First you need to look at the front linkage of the steering inside the grille. . Remove one pin from the end of the connecting link to the control valve.You will see a large locknut with a slotted screw inside Slacken the locknut and screw the slot-head screw fully home,Turn the turnbuckle on the connecting link until the pin just slides through. Next unscrew the slot head screw 7 full turns. (This gives the correct clearance to operate the valve), and then tighten the locknut. Check your steering is operating properly and tighten the locknuts on the turnbuckle. Another thing to check, if you are sure your pump is OK, is the internal seals on the ram. if you are getting 'blowpast' on them then one side of the ram could be fighting the other side. The same could be happening on the control spool on top of the ram. Sorry I cannot get over to your side of the Pond to help you more!.... Sam
