I don't know this for sure, but I thought a priority valve diverted that 3 gpm to the PS. all the time, not just when turning, I have a Massey Harris 44 Special, using a priority valve from a MH333, 3 gpm to run a char-Lynn power steering unit, stealing that 3 gpm from a total flow of 10 gpm. It works great but my remote to the rear seems somewhat slower to lift an implement.
