9Ns were set to use Model A, early 1930s wheels- 19 inch, the post war 8Ns got the post war car and pickup wheels- the 16 inchers. Look for 1946 to 1960 Ford pickup standard wheels in 16 inch meant for the 6.00/6.50/7.00 tires. I think car wheels 1945 to 1950 or so were 15 inch 6.00/6.50 tires and might fit OK- a little later like mid 1950s they were using 7.50 tires and had a bit wider rim. A 9N with later hub and wheels is no surprise, lots of stuff fit earlier just as simple manufacturing economics- and Ford was known for multiple use of stock items on different equipment, the classic was the Ford Tri-Motor airplane with steering wheel from car.
