In Lincoln, NE yesterday afternoon a couple were killed in a car wreck while on the way to a celebration for their 50th anniversary.
Circumstances suggested the cause may have been health related, however.
It occurred while they were approaching a large traffic roundabout that's been controversial since it was completed earlier this fall. This will give the complainers more ammunition. I have no problem with the roundabout, myself, but I can see how it could be intimidating to an inexperienced or elderly driver.
