Your right, the world is full of idiots. Funny thing my daughter will be 10 this month and she understands that the person holding the object makes it a weapon that will hirt someone else, but any other time the 'weapon' is nothing more than a tool designed to do a job. At the aame time there are others out there that are 99 years old and on their death bed and still don't understand the concept.
That said this country needs to go ahead and ban trees better yet just ban the saws used to cut then down. Think about it, given the reasoning most idiots used, a tree can be cut down an turned into a club, the stock for one of those evil guns, a poker to stab someone with, etc. It also has a host of other uses such as feeding fire which can burn you, creating sawdust when sawn that can become explosive. In other words with all the potential held within a tree to do, or create something deadly, why not just go ahead and ban them and make the world safer? Saddly this line of reasoning makes sense to alot of idiots..........
