You might check to see how well your pipes are protected use insulation that is recommended for your area also close up any vents around the foundation for the winter. A lot of protection can go a long way. If your water pipe has a long reach to the house make it is wel buried in the ground 4 to 5 ft. In cold country is best but just make sure it's well below the frost line. Also where it enters the house use double the insulation on all outside pipes. This should keep it at a constant temp. Walt
