So a friend of my grandpa asked me to plow an old pasture when the ground dries up. I told him I would but offered him my plow an Oliver 4-16 and he said that he was worried about his 970 case having power and even if it could pull it he thought the power shift was best for light duty, so we made deal and I'm gonna plow with my Oliver 1850 and 4-16 in the spring but his 970 is completely restored every thing is new , tires, paint, all pumps and valves, every thing it is darn near perfect mechanicall and cosmetically. it looks new. Maybe he just doesn't want to get it dirty . But I thought the 970 was similar to my olie?
