Think about all the places you see armed guards. Ever see one at a school? Cities need to pony up and hire guards at schools. One inside and one outside in a marked vehicle. And Police need to patrol there more often. Why not start building schools and public safety (Police) buildings next door to each other. Maybe build jails on the top floor of schools. Indoor pistol ranges across the street. Anything to radically change the police presence near schools. Force these loonies to the malls where they can pick on someone who will fight back.
