Greg have you ever shot someone??? Have you ever killed someone?? Have you even ever been in a life threatening situation??? Like a drugged up man half your age trying to attack you???
I have been in all three of those things. You have only a split second to react if you are attacked. It is not like the TV or movies make it look. It happens so fast you can barely react to it. You sure would have a hard time shooting to wound someone. This is especially true inside of a house. Outside with some distance you might have time to react differently than in close quarters.
Also how well do you think you would look on a mug shot??? My current drivers license makes me look like Charles Manson made over.
