If new gaskets are not available, then as mentioned already, use new gasket material if at all possible. AND note the thickness as there are applications where the thickness of a gasket is important, although not likely on an old tractor. I have on occasion re-used a gasket but I would apply a small bead of RTV gasket maker on each side to assure a good seal. Just my nickles worth.
