I agree... Somewhat. Yes, we all know about the handshake agreement, and how later, Ford lost the lawsuit to Ferguson for patent infringement. Harry had a world changing idea with the 3 point hitch. Henry recognized it's potential and it was him (FoMoCo) that built the tractor to use it on. Now part of Harry's genius was the draft sensing mechanism in the top link. But the 9/2Ns only had draft control on them. As did the TO 20s. It was the Ford design team that came up with position control on the 8Ns in late 1947 which was the crème de la crème as far as 3 point functionality goes. By the time The Fergies added position control on the TO 30s in 1951 or thereabouts Ford had already built nearly 343,000 8Ns that had it. Again, I'm not saying the Fergies are bad tractors. But to suggest the Ford Ns were a copy of the Fergies is just not historically correct.
