I use classic 90 percent of the time...but seldom have the freeze-up on the site.
But therre is a free download by Piriform, called CCleaner... when you run it, it wipes out ALL recently typed URLS (but you can save them in your Favorites list), empties your recycling bin, gets rid of all cookies that webistes save on your hard drive, deletes the list of recently opened documents.
I use the CCleaner at work too. Removes a lot of junk from your computer. The program only takes a few seconds to run - I do it each day. Available at download DOT com - just make sure you choose the free edition.
