My answer is to the fact the Catholic and the Lutheran Church are very close in ties since the Lutheran Church was started by a Catholic monk by the name of Martin Luther and that monk believe that the people should be able to read the Bible in there in there own language so using the X in place of the word Christ to me is not right due to the fact I do not speak Latin or Greek or Hebrew I speak American English which is not like the English spoke in England so while the X many come from things back 1000 years ago it has no place in American English.
