Trouble shoot before even thinking about throwing ANY part in it. First off when was the last time you cleaned the oil cup on the air cleaner and dumped the dirt and water out of it??? If you have not done it in a long time that could be the problem. Next pull the carb drain plug. Let the fuel flow for a few minutes. Catch the gas so as to look for dirt/water etc. If you do not have a stead y flow gas work your way back till you find where it is clogged. If you have good flow then check your spark it needs to be a blue/white and jump a 1/4 inch gap or more. Any one of those 3 could cause a problem like you have. Post back what you find for more help if you need it
