I get my information from reading books on WWII. Where do you get yours? The California coast is 2500 miles from Hawaii. The Japanese homeland is 3900 miles from Hawaii. They DID NOT have the ability to land an army 6400 miles from home while they were still fully engaged in China and the Philippines. Did they land troops in Hawaii? Why didn't they? As you say, our fleet was destroyed. One landing and they owned it, right? Why did they go home?
