A car guy on a Sunday morning radio program said that the dealers have to sell for less on line or they will be out of business. Offer 90% of base and 50% of options. Most of dealer profit comes from sale of options and add-ons. Pay no attention to dealer cost. They don't know their cost until way after the vehicle is sold because they don't know what rebates they are going to earn.
