Talk to a freind today who TR Case blew up on him, 2005, 2500. 156,000 kilometers or 97500 miles. Mechanic told him it's very common with all Gm pickups late 90's to 2007. Aparently some clip breaks allowing pump in T-case to rub on rear housing and wears a hole in top of case, oil splashes out but won't leak on shop floor or driveway so you can see it. Finally all oils gone and then it catastrofic (his word not mine but I like it, probably spelt wrong) failure. Any one know about this or had similar problem. Asking cause I got a 2004 with 234000 kilks on it, no problem yet but thinking I better check my fluid level and feel for oil on top of case just to be safe. Rocko.
