If you need to just make a temporary repair to get something done, until you can get a permanent tube, just take some rubber belting or what have you, it needs to be at least 1/8 inch thick, and apply it with 3 or 4 hose clamps. Note for safety police: be careful as some oil could come out on either side or end of the patch and be under high pressure. This is again a TEMPORARY repair for farmers only, not to be attempted at home by safety police!
