I know this is a antique site and I certainly support it but there is the dollar thing. That tractor probably brought more dollars right there than the parts folks want to pay. Again I think it is what part of the country you are in. Right now I can get over 300 dollars a ton for clean scrap (that is why he was saying no tires) If the tractor were to weigh 4,000 lob that is $ 600.00. Now granted there are parts there but how long before you sell 6 hundred dollars worth. In this part of the country just not enough folks fixing up old tractors and a whole lot of old tractors sitting in the fence rows.
