I never liked that system.When we have to use ether we spray a good shot on the screen under the air cleaners precleaner on top the hood.That way it is turning over good before the ether is drawn into the intake,much less rattling and banging.None if done right.We have one 3020 with 9500 hours that we use alot of ether on as the engine is wore out.Someday we will overhaul it then no more ether.A block heater is better but sometimes that is not an option.
