Doggone it, don"t you know better than to make fun of football??????? Now, it"s ok to make fun of people"s kids and wives, BUT it is NOT OK to make fun of their religion - and around my parts, football is the most prevailing religion. You"d be safer to mock the islamists, jews, christians, and buddhists.
(Of course, when it comes to football, I guess I am a non-believer. I have played it and coached it and watched it over the years. I can find few of the virtues that enthusiasts claim that it instills. My experiences tended to show that the virtues were generally already there in the kids that showed them.)
