I think the State BASE rate in MN is 6 3/8 %. Some towns have local sales taxes, voted on by 'their' residents, and paid by all who shop there. St. Cloud is one, new library, recreational facilities, parks, always trying to expand the civic Center which hangs on the Mississippi river bank. Still trying to get State bond money for that fiasco.
