The 45 combine was introduced in limited numbers in 1954 and for general production in 1955. The No. 10 corn head was introduced at the same time or very close to go along with it. The "corn attachment", as it was called then, was later adapted to fit on the 55 and 95 combines. The first of these combines were known as "No. X5". Later on the "No." was dropped. Mike
