Until recently, it WAS a 1984 Toyota 4wd pick up I had. Over 200,000 miles of being tortured, I traded it on a 1990 version of same truck. The 84 got great milage, was as dependable as it gets, and was still in decent shape when I let it go.
More recently, the '04 Dodge 2500 QC 4WD Hemi auto I have now is without question the toughest vehicle I've ever owned. 245,000+ miles and still in great condition. It's a farm truck, tows an overloaded 14,000gvwr gooseneck quite a bit, and is treated like a red headed step child. Never flinches...
