Seven plus inches of rain in two days here in central GA.Everyone here was getting REAL concerned with planting time coming up shortly and all the irrigation ponds basically dry but we got just the kind of relief we needed.For the last two days it has been a steady soaking rain with hardly any hard washing rains so far.I built me a 2.5 acre pond in 2011 and it finally ran through the overflow for the first time yesterday morning since I built it.Subsoil moisture was all but gone and this should help get some of it back.I hope it spreads out to help others of you that I know are in the same situation that we were in.
