OT; The crud

Going on 3 weeks now. Started on a Friday afternoon with sore throat and went to sinus congestion and pain. Then started coughing. Went to Doc on following Monday and got a shot and some antibiotics. Got worse and tried some old home remedies. Nothing helped. Could not sleep for coughing. Slept maybe 2 hours per night all last week. Back to Doc this past Monday and got 2 shots and a very strong cough medicine to make me sleep. Can't get rid of the cough at night. Lungs are clear during the day now, but at night, sinuses drain and make me cough.
Anybody else been having such symptoms?
