Caught mine in early stage at age 60. PSA was high, had biopsy to confirm. Doc said at growth rate not serious for at least 10 years. Also said everything else such as heart, blood pressure, breathing etc good for longer, so treatment worthwhile. Had radioactive seeds implanted. As I was living alone with no one around, they held me in hosp overnite for observation. No after effects, went back to work a week later. Has been 13 years now, yearly checkups clear. WJ
