It is snowing right now South of Spokane, and the forecast is for more snow Thursday and Friday. However I do not expect for the snow to stick around very long, as it is not cold enough.
On the other hand, the soil is still frozen down a few inches in most places. I need to put in a new water line across my yard this Spring, because the old galvanized pipe is leaking badly. I think I will wait for about another month to avoid having to deal with frozen ground.
Very soon we will be in mud season. For several weeks, I will not take any vehicle of any kind beyond the area that is graveled. In the past, I have not followed that plan, and have managed to get stuck SO BAD!
I really am looking forward to Spring! It"s coming!
