What's it in? I had a trasnmission input shaft sael leaking in a Deere 1020. I put three quarters of a gallon of Lucas Hydraulic Oil Booster and Stop Leak in that one. Didn't completely stop it,but made a huge difference. The stuff costs around $26 a gallon. Might be worth a shot.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity".
