Reminds me of a story my friend told me: His brother works in a school district culinary program. They had a power failure one time. The principal told him to throw all the meat out from the refrigerators/freezer. He told her the temperature never dropped far enough to endanger the meat. (They have those temperature monitor devices with circular recording graphs on the units). Principal said throw it all out anyway. As he was emptying the meat lockers, the principal and other administrators came in and carted off all the best meat. Wonder where it all ended up? :wink:
