A rigid clutch disc refers to the spring dampening around the center hub. There are many variations, but if you have 4 or 5 springs around the center hub of the disc it is a dampened one. A rigid disc will be solid without any dampening of any kind. Usually, dampening is used to lessen the shock of engagement, vibration, etc. I've seen many, many automotive discs, and a handful of tractor discs, and the solid hubs are rather rare, and usually only on large truck or especially industrial applications where constant engagement/disengagement is not an issue. The "woven" term you ask about refers to the lining of the clutch. The lining is woven out of several materials. You can usually see some threads of the stuff it's made with. This would be as opposed to ceramic or semi-metallic pucks, called button clutches. Again. most button style discs are for large, heavy duty applications, but I have seen a few tractor discs that were button style.
