When they give that ranking they test drive them a couple of hundred miles. Can't really evaluate a vehicle like that. Back in the late 80's I got both Motor Trend and Car and Driver. That year both did test on pickups. They tried driving em like sports cars and complained about performance and handling. I thought that was a pretty poor way to rate a truck. Then they rated the 18,000 dollar Mazda Miada 2 seat sport car. All through the story they complained that it didn't handle or accelerate as well as an 80,000 dollar European sport car. I haven't paid any attention to what garbage they spew sense then. I've seen one eval of trucks in a mag that was worth while and it wasn't even in an auto mag. In that article they tested towing, load carrying and such.
