Bought a week old bull calf from a guy.His Momma had calved with mastitis so the calf stayed with her in a pen until she cleared up.When I got the calf home he was so rammy I put a rope through the vent on the top and tied it to a tree on either side because I was afraid he would flip the hutch over. That night I tried to give him a bottle.I was squated like a baseball catcher when he jumped at me forehead first. He was laying down when I got up.
Another time I was helping a buddy move and we tried to save a trip by leaving the tailgate down to hold a dresser and I rode on the gate. The dresser started to rock 1/2 mile later and I couldn"t hold it so we both hit the asphalt. The driver was standing over me when I opened my eyes.It took over 20 stitches to close the gash in the back of my head.Earlier when we moved the fridge we removed a box of wine to make it lighter.I"m not saying it was entirely the fault of the wine.
